About Us


To the Dalton Convention Center, home of the 2015 NAIA College Basketball National Champions, The Dalton State Roadrunners!

The Dalton Convention Center is a multi-purpose venue built in 1991, and located in the beautiful town of Dalton, Georgia. The Convention Center is owned by the City of Dalton and by Whitfield County. The Convention Center is operated by the General Manager, Doug Phipps, and the Director of Tourism, Brett Huske.

In addition to being the home of the Dalton State Roadrunners basketball team, the Convention Center’s arena has a maximum seating capacity of 2,100, and is home to the Georgia Athletic High School Coaches’ Hall of Fame. The Convention Center hosts numerous rooms, banquet halls, a lecture hall, and of course the arena to fit all your needs. The Convention Center is the Perfect Venue for Trade Shows, Concerts, Sporting Events, Weddings, Presentations, and so much more. The Convention Center also offers catering for any event.
